 SnoFlake Central ©Nicole Wrona The sparkling snow continues to fall today. This has been The Best Winter- EVER! Ice skating, sledding, and snowball fights have all surfaced this year. Snow-shoeing and cross-country skiing in the Poconos added to the mix. And there were many Winter Wonderland walks through the forest and both cities. [freewheelin' style] You should see what is planned for next year!

 ©Nicole Wrona This past weekend, we attended a private gathering at Dame Dash's [not yet unveiled] gallery: DD172. Artist Vanessa Chakour presented 'Ma Dukes' Yancey with a portrait of her late son, J Dilla.

 J Dilla Tribute ©Nicole Wrona Yesterday the life and music of J Dilla was celebrated full force in Brooklyn. The tribute was orchestrated by DJ Metaphysic, Iverani. NobleStar, Drastic Measure, Jessica Estevez of iHEARTDilla.com, Fat Beats NY, The Bronx Museum, and Scratch Academy.
Proceeds were given to the J Dilla Foundation. There will be an additional benefit tomorrow evening at The Bell House.  that ECHOecho was going to be strutting their stuff tonight at the Bowery Ballroom- Yeah Sean! more lata...
