It begins with yours truly tripping the light fantastic, which in this case actually means falling into the Fedora- not dancing. And I didn't quite fall on my face, not exactly. Those uneven stairs threw me into the spotlight on that fateful eve.
For nostalgic purposes, please note that the original cast at the Fedora has been replaced & has been renovated into a slick eatery. No matter- they held on to the sign, which, to me, is what counts in this situ. It's a yuletide tale, so maybe it will be resurrected for the approaching holidays.
It almost certainly ties into the Long Island Post Office Debacle which haphazardly landed in Great Neck & is rounded out by the End of the Line Escapades that resulted in a New Years celebration with the conductors at the station in Jersey. (You have not experienced New Years Eve until you have spend it celebrating at the conductor's station- can you say "buffet")
The New Year took a landslide victory in Paterson. One of the best towns- EVAH. All may do nicely as bedtime stories, although they fall short of fascinating, each is pretty funny in its own special way.
